05 Feb Work it with your work Wardrobe Article
A few months ago I was invited to take part in an article about the importance of developing a great work wardrobe while carving out your perfect career. I spoke with Leona MacDaid, from Maven46 magazine ,and we chatted about lots of wardrobe and career related issues including:
- The importance of interview dressing
- The balance between style and functionality
- Dressing for starting in a new job
I really enjoyed the interview and she just sent me the finished article HERE!
If you’re serious about getting ahead in your career, developing a work wardrobe is one of the first ways you can make instant changes. How you dress is a huge part of putting your personal brand out there to your own colleagues and to potential future employers.
I loved this article because Career Planning is not all networking and CV polishing, there are loads of different, little ways you can make small changes that will make long term impacts on your plan. Career planning is hard, but you can have fun with it too!
Even if you’re not looking for a job at exactly this moment, its never to early to start picking up some classic wardrobe staples. Have a read and let me know what you think!
